Chacki

How to talk to Chacki, the AI assistant of Chakloon: conversations, files, memory, limits and what happens to your data.

What it is

Chacki at chacki.com is the AI assistant of the Chakloon package. You talk to it in ordinary language, and it answers in text. Chacki can look things up with the services of Chakloon: web search, news and weather. It is an artificial intelligence, not a person.

You choose one of two versions. In Chacki, the default one, text answers are generated by a model of Anthropic. Chacki Lite is our own template-based bot, and its answers are not passed to external processors. Images are generated by a model of OpenAI. Image generation may be temporarily unavailable; Chacki tells you so when you ask for a picture.

Under the input field Chacki always reminds you that it is an AI and can make mistakes, and that important facts are worth checking. The reminder links to the Chacki AI Terms.

Get started

  1. Open chacki.com.
  2. Sign in with your Chakloon Passport. Chacki answers only signed-in users aged 16 and over; without signing in you see a page about the service.
  3. Write your question and send it.

Main actions

  1. New conversation: start a new conversation for every new topic. Chacki gives it a name by your first message.
  2. Rename or delete: open the menu of a conversation in the list and choose the action. A deleted conversation disappears from your list, but its transcript is kept, see Your data below.
  3. Attach a file or an image: use the attach button, or drag the file into the window, and ask about it. Files can be PDF and DOCX documents of up to 10 MB each, up to 30 a day; Chacki reads the text of a document, but not the pictures in it. A scan without a text layer cannot be read, and Chacki tells you so at once. Images can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF files of up to 10 MB each, up to 4 per message, and Chacki sees them.
  4. Ask for current information: ask about news, the weather in a city or something to find on the web, and Chacki uses the Chakloon services to answer.
  5. Memory: Chacki, unlike Chacki Lite, remembers up to 40 short facts about you, of up to 300 characters each, to use them in later conversations; newer facts push out older ones. Write forget me, in English, Ukrainian or Russian, and Chacki erases its memory and the profile of Chacki Lite. In other languages, or if you want to be sure, write to privacy@chakloon.com.
  6. Voice input: press the microphone and speak; your browser turns your speech into text in the language of the interface, and you send the text yourself. The audio does not reach Chakloon. Chrome and Edge send it for recognition to Google and Microsoft, and Safari uses recognition by Apple. Firefox has no microphone button.

Limits and rules

  • The number of answers and images per day is limited. The current limits are shown in the service. When a limit is reached, continue the next day.
  • An AI can be wrong. It can state wrong facts or invent sources with confidence. Check anything important.
  • Chacki does not give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice and is not an emergency service.
  • Do not use Chacki for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive.
  • Attach only documents and images you may lawfully share. Do not attach any with other people's personal data or with secrets unless you have the right to share them.

The full rules are in the Chacki AI Terms.

Your data

Your conversations and Chacki's memory about you are stored in our database on our servers in the EU. Deleting a conversation hides it from you, but its transcript is kept until you ask for erasure or delete your account, and we may use the text of the messages you write to improve Chacki, but not the text of attached documents or images. You can object to this use, or ask for complete erasure, at privacy@chakloon.com. Deleting your Chakloon Passport account erases everything in Chacki.

In Chacki, to produce an answer, the text of the conversation, its attached images and the text of its documents are sent to Anthropic; for an image, the prompt is sent to OpenAI. Both are in the USA. Our accounts with them are API accounts, and we do not allow them to use your data to train their models. Do not enter more personal data than the task needs.

We do not keep an attached document itself. We keep only its text, extracted by our server, in your account together with the conversation. A document you never sent in a message is deleted after one day, and after you delete a conversation the text of its documents is deleted 30 days later; with your account it is deleted at once. At your request to privacy@chakloon.com the text is erased earlier. The text is included in the export of your Chakloon Passport data. Images you attach and images Chacki generates are kept in our media storage in the EU. They are not erased with a deleted conversation, only with your account; they are not used to improve Chacki and are included in the export as links. Anyone who has the address of an image can open it without signing in. The address cannot be guessed, but a link can be forwarded, so do not attach an image you would not want to be seen by someone who gets the link.
