Chakloon Console

For site owners: how to add your site to Chakloon Console, prove that the domain is yours and get it indexed by Chakloon Net.

What it is

Chakloon Console at chakloon.net/console is the cabinet for owners of websites. In it you add your site, prove that you control the domain and queue the site for indexing in Chakloon Net. The promotional page with an overview is at console.chakloon.net.

Add your site

  1. Open chakloon.net/console and sign in with your Chakloon Passport.
  2. Enter your domain and add it.
  3. Prove that the domain is yours (see below).
  4. After the proof the site appears in your list with its summary.

Prove the domain

Choose any one of four methods:

  • Meta tag: put the meta tag chakloon-net-verification with your token into the head of your home page.
  • File: upload the file /chakloon-net-xxxx.txt, where xxxx is your token, to the root of your site.
  • DNS: add a TXT record with your token to the zone of your domain.
  • E-mail: receive a letter at a service mailbox of your domain: info@, hello@, contact@, support@, office@, admin@, administrator@, webmaster@, hostmaster@ or postmaster@.

Your token and the exact text to copy are shown in the cabinet. Put the tag, the file or the record in place first, then press the check button once: the tag, the file and the record are checked at the same time. If the check fails, make sure that the tag, the file or the record is exactly as shown, and press the button again. DNS changes can take some time to become visible.

For proof by e-mail, press the button that asks your mail server which of these mailboxes exist, and choose one. The letter comes from no-reply@chakloon.com, and its link is valid for 24 hours. Open the link and press the button on the page: opening the link alone does not prove the domain. You can ask for a new letter once every 10 minutes, at most 4 times. Proof by e-mail is valid for 365 days.

Keep the proof in place. The meta tag, the file and the DNS record are checked again every 30 days by the same method. If the proof is not found, you receive an e-mail and have 14 days to restore it, and we check it every day. Proof by e-mail is not checked again, and we do not send new letters on our own: it is valid for 365 days from the moment you pressed the button. On day 365 you receive a notice that the proof is lost and have 14 days to prove the domain again by any method, including a new letter requested in the cabinet. If you do not do this in time, your ownership is removed: the site stays in the index like any other site, and its card leaves the catalogue.

Several people may prove the same domain, each with their own account, for example the owner and the agency that runs the site.

Free and paid indexing

  • Free: the first pages of your site, up to 100, are queued for indexing. Indexing is not guaranteed.
  • Paid plan: the whole site, regular recrawling and storage of the full index. The full index of a paid site is also given free of charge to AI systems and social networks. The price is shown in the cabinet.

Card payment for the paid plan is not available in the cabinet. To get the paid plan, write to support@chakloon.com from the e-mail address of your account and name the domain.

Before the paid plan ends, you receive an e-mail 7 days in advance and on the last day. All pages stay in the index for 30 days after the end. Then the pages above the free 100 leave the index; they are not deleted and return after a new payment, once our crawler has visited them again.

If your ownership is removed while the paid plan is paid, the paid period runs to its end, plus 3 days of grace, and renewal is cancelled. The money is not refunded, because the service for the paid period is provided in full. If you prove the domain again before the period ends, you can switch the subscription on again in the cabinet.

In the cabinet

  • Statistics: impressions and clicks of your pages in Chakloon Net results, by queries and by pages, for 7, 28 or 90 days. Robots are not counted.
  • Indexing report: the pages of your site by status, with the reasons.
  • URL inspection: check an address and request its indexing, 10 addresses a day free and 200 on the paid plan.
  • Notifications: by e-mail to the confirmed address of your Chakloon Passport account and in the Chakloon bell: domain confirmed, pages in the index (1, 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000), crawl errors, robots.txt closed, proof lost, ownership removed, plan ending or ended, pages removed.

Site card

Your site has a card in the catalogue with a title and a description. The form automatically removes links, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, repeated characters such as !!! and words in capital letters. A card about pornography and escort services, gambling and betting, sale of drugs, forged documents, sale of prescription medicines without a prescription or payday loans is not published at once: a person reviews it first, usually within a day, and publishes or rejects it. If the card is rejected, we tell you the reason, and you can correct the card and save it again.

Conditions

Your robots.txt must allow ChakloonBot. Sites that block our crawler are not indexed and are not shown in Chakloon Net. Pages marked noindex are not taken. Sites with pornography, gambling or pirated content are not accepted into the cabinet. How our crawler works is described at chakloon.net/bot.
